MY INTERNET STARTED WORKING and I blasted (quite literally!) through the remaining Redridge Mountains questline. I ended up getting the achievement and completing the questline, even though I didn’t have to. I wanted to hear the rest of the story!
Questing through these areas is an interesting experience. Even though all of the quests and zones were completely redone recently, there is a huge difference between them and Pandaria. Pandaria has more details. The whole continent has gorgeous lighting and features. The rest of Azeroth is lovely – but it doesn’t compare.

Is that a priest you’re using for Loremaster? I have a lot of respect for toons like that on this grind. I opted for a hunter when I did it, which sort of feels like cheating because it’s way faster than most other classes I can think of. Well worth the time though. You learn so much more about the background of the story through the quests. I find it adds a lot more meaning to the game that way. Good luck!
The story is exactly why I am doing it! I read a few of the Warcraft novels and was fascinated by all I had overlooked. I am doing it on a priest, yes! I’ve only completed 7 zones so far — mostly lowbie – so it’s a fast pace at the moment. It’ll slow down considerably as I progress as I’m dual specced for healing!
Ugh, stop! You two are making me want to do ALL the quests D:
