My favourite movie is Beauty and the Beast. The idea of an enchanted castle, hidden away in the woods and almost forgotten, has appealed to me my whole life!
Karazhan is an enchanted castle.
Karazhan is an abandoned ancient tower located in Deadwind Pass. Karazhan is notable for its famous occupant, the last Guardian of Tirisfal, Medivh. You can use Medivh’s staff, Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian, to teleport players to the front gate of Karazhan. [WoWhead]
Inside Karazhan, there are flying books and phantoms of guests. There’s a banquet hall, servants quarters, an opera, and a life-sized chess set. There’s a Huntsman to kill and dancing phantoms to avoid. Karazhan is a dark and finely detailed raid – one that I would love to see revamped!
Karazhan was always my favourite raid. Spooky, fun, haunting – and entertaining. Particularly liked the opera house.
