One of the bet parts of playing The Sims is the language they speak – Simlish. Miss Simmie, above, is desperately trying to teach Buffy to “speak”. “Purfy, SPERK SPERK SPERK!” she keeps saying.

The Internet has loads of resources for speaking Similish. In the Sims video games you can also hear songs that you probably know – Fun.’s We Are Young, perhaps? The full  list is here.

 

Wherein I Sims 3

Steam Summer Sale, The Sims 3, TS3

I recently took advantage of the Steam Summer Sale and bought The Sims 3!

This is Miss Simmie. Ironically, I often have the expression she is currently sporting! It took me a while to get out of the character selection page. I’m sure the whole playdough-y look of the Sims in the Sims 3 will grow on me.

Miss Simmie is a charismatic Sim who has just started the Journalism career.

Miss Simmie lives in a little yellow bungalow! Eventually, I plan on having this upgraded so her future family has more space!

I’m shocked at how customizable this game is! LOOK I EVEN HAVE TOILET PAPER IN MY BATHROOM. WITHOUT HAVING TO DOWNLOAD IT FROM A FANSITE. AHHHHHHHHHHH CUTE.

Chances are I will spend more time playing around in build and buy mode than I ever will playing Miss Simmie!
